Intermittent therapeutic fasting
Intermittent fasting consists of distributing the times we eat within a period or feeding window.
Intermittent fasting consists of distributing the times we eat within a period or feeding window. In this way, by not eating any food, you reduce your metabolic rate, and put your body on “pause” to enter a physiological, metabolic and neuroendocrine “reset” process called AUTOPHAGIA.
There are different types of intermittent fasting, the best known being 8/16 fasting, 24 fasting and 48 fasting, although there are also others such as 12/12

The 12/12 fast means that we will be fasting for 12 hours and the feeding window will be in the following 12 hours.

Fasting on 8/16 means that we will be fasting for 16 hours and the feeding window will be in the following 8 hours.

Fasting on 18/6 means that we will be fasting for 18 hours and the feeding window will be in the following 6 hours.
Fasting (intermittent or deep) is recommended as preventive or curative therapy in the following cases:

There are different periods of deep fasting according to your need or desire to improve your health, or prevent diseases.
Deep fasting consists of the deprivation of food for a minimum period of 72 hours up to 21 days, preferably accompanied only by water and/or optionally, fasting may be accompanied by infusions, teas, or remineralizing green juices.
*It is recommended to do a fasting cure a year as a preventive measure.
